Have you ever received a dui in the state of Florida?

My son was arrested in Florida over the weekend for driving under the influence. This was his first offense. Does anyone know what happens next for him if he is connvicted? And is there a possibility that he will have to go through an alcohol treament program?

   Not me personally, but it happened to a co-worker. Hire an attorney.
   Your son is looking at a suspended license and community service at best. I’m assuming that your son is 21 or older. Hire an attorney!

   well i lucked out pretty good, since it was my first offense and i didnt have any prior criminal record they gave me some leway, also i wasnt even driving! i was sitting in the parking lot but since i had the keys in the ignition they got me… it wasnt so bad though my dad knew a good lawyer who only cost 5 thousand… and got me off with 60 days in jail, after the time was served though they fired me from my job since i worked in the bank and havent been able to find work since then… you can call my lawyer if you need assistance his name is john smith 440 427 0111
