The Heather Locklear DUI is so awful because she had somebody waiting to catcher her making a mistake so that they could profit from it. The worse the mistake the more pictures the more profit people make.

When most of us get caught breaking the law we don’t see our picture on the web in every corner and see our mug shot on all of the news stations for days. Months later we don’t have to see the pictures to remind us of the miss step.

Driving under the influence doesn’t automatically mean that alcohol is involved. Prescription drugs can sometimes cause impairment and unpredictable reactions. Many factors can contribute to problems with drugs and alcohol. I’m sure the California DMV do not have this type of behavior in mind when they provide drivers licenses.

Drunk driving, driving under the influence or driving while intoxicated, whatever you call it can be caused by more elements than just alcohol. If you operate or control a motor vehicle while influenced or impaired you have consented to be tested and evaluated by the authorities. Some medications can cause impairment and this was the case with Locklear.  All 50 states have their own laws for defining the violations. Crossing state lines can drastically change the laws and penalties.

Each of the 50 states has a blood alcohol content limit of 0.08. California also has a zero tolerance level  BAC of 0.01. Some states, California is one of them, also have an enhanced BAC penalty law. California’s is 0.20.

The Heather Locklear mug shot really made me feel sorry for her but I also hate her. If you look at her she’s 47, almost 50, and she still looks like she’s in her 20s. On the other hand the Lil Kim mug shot makes her look older so that’s good. Locklear has other people hate her to because the so called good samaritan that called the cops made $27,000 on the paparazzi pics.

Good people may not be what they seem, especially in this case. This wolf in sheep’s clothing was Jill Ishkanian. She makes the wolf look like Mary Poppins. The FBI is still adding up her crimes. She is a former editor for Us Weekly who stole information from their computers after she left so she could do what she did to Locklear. Stalk and capitalize on mistakes.

The more we find out about Ishkanian the worse she gets. Not only is she a thief. She has her own group of thieves. She owns a paparazzi agency that steals images. Also, Ishkanian is so bad no one will deal with her to buy her pics. I would rather have an axe murder following me than someone the tabloids don’t approve of. How creepy is that.

So the Heather Locklear DUI does have a bright spot for us. It makes us glad we’re not a celebrity when we mess up.
