Ummm…..if you want to pursue litigation against the mother of your stepchild, I would suspect you have to pay for it. What on earth have you done to run up $45K in legal fees ?
If you’re attorney charged you 45K and got nothing accomplished, then it’s time to find a new attorney!!!
You can petition the court to overturn a divorce degree and try to regain custody (if the mother has custody), but you will have to find probable cause. You can call the bar association in your state to find an attorney that deals with custody cases. They will recommend a qualified and reputable attorney in your area.
